Plan Your Visit

When you arrive at The Wall That Heals, you will have the opportunity to visit the Mobile Education Center that travels with The Wall. The displays set the stage for your walk to The Wall. As you approach, the size of the wall overwhelms you and the enormity of the sacrifice confronts you.

Ambassadors will be on hand to help you find a name or make an etching or answer questions. You may choose to visit for less than an hour or sit and think for hours. There is no hurry.

The Wall That Heals will be open 24 hours a day while it is at War Memorial Stadium.

  • The Wall That Heals is open 24 hours Friday, February 9th through Tuesday, February 13th.

  • There is no admission charge.

  • Visitors can take in the exhibit at their own pace or sign up for a group tour.

  • Accompanied children are welcome to attend.

  • No dogs or pets are permitted, except for service animals.

  • There are no concessions or souvenirs available for purchase.

  • There is abundant free parking at The Wall That Heals.

In Memory Program

The Wall That Heals - Maui

Since the Vietnam War ended, thousands of Vietnam Veterans have suffered each year due to Agent Orange exposure, PTSD/suicide, cancer and other causes related to their service. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund's In Memory program honors those who returned home from Vietnam and later died.

Please understand that while your loved one’s memory and service will be honored, his/her name will not be inscribed on The Wall That Heals.

To have a loved one considered for the In Memory program when The Wall That Heals visits Hawai'i, you must submit your application to VVMF by January, 2024.

To apply online, www.vvmf.org/In-Memory-Program or download and fill out the PRINTABLE APPLICATION HERE and mail to the address listed on the form.

If you have any questions please email: InMemory@vvmf.org or review the VVMF Frequently Asked Questions section.
